Hello everyone, I am Juezi Huang from Desheng School, Guangdong, China. As a science student, I have great enthusiasm for biological research, especially in plant science such as plant immunity. During my school life, I enjoy participating in all kinds of research-related programs and courses, such as gene cloning and gene editing course. Apart from my academic life, I enjoy painting. Plants are usually the subjects of my artwork. I also enjoy sports a lot, such as jogging, swimming, and rugby.

In this review, I investigated how plant hormones (salicylic acid and jasmonic acid) influence the plant root microbiome. Some experimental techniques that are commonly applied in the investigation of plant-microbiome interaction are summarized. The physiological role of the hormones and factors that might trigger the change in the hormone level is discussed. The possible pathways of the plant hormones influencing the root microbiome composition are also proposed.
